The Coca-Cola Company seeks Euro 2016 Public Affairs and Communication Manager

  • The PAC Manager will have the responsibility to build, enhance and protect the reputation of the Company and its brands through the communications connected to the UEFA EURO 2016.
  • The PAC Manager will develop a strategic Euro 2016 Public Relations and communication plan for European countries.
  • The PAC Manager will ensure implementation of this plan across Europe by being the single point of contact for all topics related to PR & communication for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • The PAC Manager will have a double reporting with UEFA EURO 2016 Finance, Planning & Support Manager on one side and France PAC Director on the other side.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop communications campaigns that deliver high quality media coverage and enhance the reputation of the Company and our brands in line with our UEFA EURO 2016 legacies’ strategy with a focus on the delivery of messages to the public around our sponsorship of Euro 2016.
  • Deliver PAC toolkits to all Europeans countries and in France to ensure a proper implementation of the plan
  • Lead cross-functional working to maximize opportunities and minimize risks associated with brand plans
  • Set-up and lead systems and processes to manage an integrated approach to media relations & media coverage for the Company and its brands
  • Link between Group PA&C, BU PA&C and other BU Coordinators for all information including overarching and group-specific updates, questions and requests related to the management of their programmes including Active Healthy Living and Digital programs
  • Act a as team member of France PAC team to ensure perfect execution of the Host Country specific PAC plan.
  • Manage UEFA EURO 2016 IMCR Manager who will drive crisis and issues management for Coca-Cola in relation to UEFA EURO 2016
  • Work with Euro 2016 Team Finance Manager to prepare, track and receive approvals for all Euro 2016 PA&C project budgets. Responsible of communication with the relevant teams to ensure all Euro 2016 PR and Communication plans are budgeted within all initiatives. Ensure that all vendor payments are made in compliance with the applicable contracts and BU guidelines.

Experience required:

  • Previous experience or knowledge of the Coca-Cola System;
  • Effective organizing skills

  • High customer service orientation
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Well motivated with good initiative
  • Good time management skills
  • Fluent English & French required.

Due to the nature of the project Euro 2016, this position is a short term contract, it will end on the 31st of September 2016
